Where Are the Stars of 'Dance Moms' Now?

Dance Moms is now in its eighth season, and a lot has happened to the show—and its stars—along the way. Plenty of dancers have cycled through the Abby Lee Dance Company, and several have gone on to have impressive careers. From scary health battles to viral music videos, here's what your favorite dancers, teachers, and, of course, moms are up to today.

Then: Abby Lee Miller

Abby quickly rose to infamy for her no-nonsense way of dealing with her dancers. Her abrasive attitude made her the dance teacher people loved to hate.

Now: Abby Lee Miller

Abby has been through a lot since leaving the show in 2017. She went to jail for felony bankruptcy fraud and was later diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a rare type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She went through 10 rounds of chemotherapy and is now doing physical therapy to walk again after announcing that she's cancer-free in May 2019. However, she still returned to the show for season 8, Dance Moms: Resurrection, which premiered in June 2019.

Then: Maddie Ziegler

Maddie was a breakout start on Dance Moms, which she appeared on from 2011 to 2016. During that time, she won several titles at regional, state, and national dance competitions.

Now: Maddie Ziegler

Maddie took her Dance Moms stardom and ran with it. She's been on Dancing with the Stars and has appeared in several of Sia's music videos. She'll also appear in Sia's movie, Music, as well as West Side Story, both in 2020.

Then: Mackenzie Ziegler

Like her big sister, Maddie, Mackenzie appeared on Dance Moms for six seasons. She was a star dancer with the Abby Lee Dance Company.

Now: Mackenzie Ziegler

Mackenzie started a music career with her 2014 album, Mack Z, and released a followup called Phases in 2018. She's been on several tours and also modeled for big names like Ralph Lauren. Mackenzie was also a runner-up on the first season of Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.

Melissa, Maddie and Mackenzie Zeigler's mom, was often thought of as a second mom to all the girls at ALDC.

Melissa is now busy supporting her daughters' careers. She's also active on Instagram and has 3.5 million followers.

Then: Chloe Lukasiak

Chloe was another breakout star on Dance Moms, but she left in 2014 after her mom had friction with Abby. In her final episode, Chloe was the highest scoring ALDC soloist at Nationals.

Christi, a.k.a. Chloe's mom, was known for constantly fighting with Abby over the dance teacher's favoritism of Maddie Zeigler. The Lukasiaks finally left the show after Abby called Chloe "washed up."

Christi now has a YouTube channel, where she covers a wide range of topics. She's also active on Instagram, where she has 2.1 million followers.

Then: Nia Sioux Fraizer

Nia was one of the original cast members of the show and was constantly overlooked by Abby. She left the ALDC during season 7 to form The Irreplaceables, a group of dancers who formerly made up the ALDC elite team.

Nia's been working hard since leaving the show. She's starred on The Bold And The Beautiful since 2018 and has a few film roles coming up. She also released a single called "Slay" back in 2018. Nia started college at UCLA in the fall of 2019.

Nia's mom, Holly, was known for being the calm and rational mom during her daughter's turn on the show, even though Nia was not favored by Abby. She also earned her Ph.D. in education from the University of Pennsylvania and wrote a book called Moments Of Clarity while on the show.

The mom of three keeps busy supporting her kids' education and careers, and also is active on Instagram, with 2 million followers. Holly also made a cameo appearance on The Bold And The Beautiful in 2018 with her daughter.

Gianna, or "Gia" as she's known on the show, started out as a dancer at ALDC at age six, and then became a teacher, choreographer, and major persona on the show.

Gia returned to the show in 2019 for Dance Moms: Resurrection. She lives in L.A. and continues to choreograph and judge dance competitions. She's active on Instagram with over 1 million followers.

Camryn auditioned for the show back in 2014 during season four, but joined the main cast and elite team in 2017 for season seven. She was often overlooked by Abby and was dealing with anxiety behind the scenes of the show.

Camryn is now a senior in high school and still dances, but is no longer with ALDC. She revealed in a Youtube video in 2019 that she dealt with mental health struggles during and after the show, largely due to bullying she endured, and fear that her words were constantly being twisted. She attended therapy sessions as a result.

Camryn's mother, Camille, was mostly on the seventh season of the show. Her time on the show, where her daughter was not one of the stars of ALDC, was not without stress.

The mother of three is active on Instagram and continues to support her kids. Her daughter revealed in a 2019 video that Camille struggled with anxiety and disordered eating due to the dress of the show.

Elliana first joined Dance Moms as a member of the ALDC mini team in season 6. She joined the elite team in season 7 and was there until the elite team disbanded.

Elliana is still dancing and has started acting. She starred in the off-Broadway musical Dance Divas Nutcracker in 2017, and has danced on JoJo Siwa's tour. She competed on Dancing With The Stars Juniors, and also returned to Dance Moms in season eight to join Abby's new dance company.

Yolanda, a school teacher and former competitive dancer and ice skater herself, was briefly on season six and mostly season seven of the show with her daughter, Elliana.
